New Swat Mining Corporation (NSMC) is a leading Mining organization which is working in the Mining and Minerals sector of Pakistan since 1974 and contributing to its growth. Since its existence, NSMC has been involved in Mining and trade of Coal, Dolomite, Feldspar, Soapstone, Limestone, Marble, Chromite, Fluorite and Rock Phosphate.

Founded with a vision to unlock the potential of natural resources sustainably, we have been dedicated to responsible mining practices and delivering services to our clients with compliance to HSE and local laws.

Our Projects History

1974

Working with Habib Ullah Coal Company

NSMC has started its journey with a project at Habib Ullah Coal Company, Lease no: 6 Dagare Quetta, Baluchistan in 1974 and worked on this project until 1978.

1979

Working with Islam Coal Company

New Swat Mining Corporation expanded its business and started another project with Islam Coal Company at Soranj Alibai in Quetta Baluchistan. This project lasted till 1983.

1984

Mir Coal Company

In 1984 NSMC took mines realty at Mir Coal Company, Morwad Quetta Baluchistan.

1997

Trading multiple minerals

Since 1997, NSMC has started mining and trade of Feldspar, Quartz, Marble, Limestone, Dolomite, Fluorite, Chromite and Soapstone at District Swat, Pakistan.
NSMC has also worked on processing and upgradation of raw materials since 1997. This includes processing of Dolomite, Fluorite, Soapstone and Rock Phosphate. We have two processing plants, one at Hattar Industrial Estate and the other one at Marghazar Swat

Hyderabad & Kohat Project

In 2006, we started two projects of coal mining, one at Jampir, Hyderabad Sindh and another one at Frontier region of Kohat.

Coal Mining at Abbottabad

In addition to this we also started a coal mining project at Malkot Abbottabad in 2007.

2009

Rock Phosphate mining at Abbottabad

In 2009, NSMC started working on underground mining project of Rock Phosphate at Village Turnawai Abbottabad. In this project NSMC has worked with Pak Arab Fertilizers Limited providing them extraction and transportation services till date.
